Summer Reading 2009

It’s summer! I’ve never been able to break myself of having a summer reading list. Yes, I was the geek who loved getting my summer reading list. As an adult, it’s become a tradition, selecting which books I’ll read for the summer. So far my list includes:

1. Sag Harbor by Colson Whitehead

Sag Harbor: A Novel

2. Middlemarch by George Eliot

Middlemarch (Signet Classics)

3. King Lear by Shakespeare

King Lear (Folger Shakespeare Library)

4. The Hemingses of Monticello by Annette Gordon-Reed

The Hemingses of Monticello: An American Family

5. The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao

What’s on your summer reading list?
